Pouring glass
Here's Jason of the Mac Glass project doing his thing. The installation is hanging on the back side of the Recycled Office Furniture building on South Main St. in Bloomington. If you take the Constitution trail down through the warehouses you'll be able to see it clearly hanging over the loading dock. If you see a Mac glass or Blank Canvas event posted around town be sure to check it out.
controlled burn
In the grass lands and prairie preserves people will set the grasses on fire to stimulate growth and maintain the health of the land.
Spring updated
I've made some slight alterations to the painting below. See if they have improved it or not.
Windmills
After an extended conversation with Judy Hines about her passion for the new windmills going up on the East side of Bloomington I came up with this and the painting above.

This is an image I woke to a couple days after close friends of ours lost their son. Inspired by the struggles of the family left behind and their friends attempting to keep them going.

We have a young apple tree in our front yard and this year it gave us some amazing fruit.

This is a sort of self portrait. The objects representing various parts of my life.Not really. Its just the junk I have pulled up in my studio and I thought it would sound better if I said that they had some sort of meaning.
Franklin Park

Guest Room
This is our guest room. It has great windows and rich colors that look great in the afternoon light. The painting in the painting is a piece that my grandfather brought back from his visit to Spain in the late 60'sSOLD
Railroad Bridge
There's an old abandoned railroad bridge north of Bloomingtion that sits in the middle of a farmer's field. It still gets some traffic since it's the only way to cross the gully running through the field.
Wind Farm
This is my first effort since being home from Madrid. The wind farms of Illinois are quite impressive, stretching on for miles. If you stand at one end of the farm outside of Bloomington and look toward the other, it goes as far as the eye can see. If you've had the chance to visit the prairie state then you know that's pretty far. Another interesting thing about wind farms is that they are built right on top of existing farms. The corn and soybeans grows right up to the about 10' from the base.
