The Crow and the Pitcher

Shepherd and the Lion

This is based on the fable about the old man who helps and injured lion, who is later falsely accused and thrown to the lions only to find out that the lion he has been thrown to is the one that he helped. The lion remembers the old man and spares his life and the old man is set free.

Virginia landscape

This was the view from the back of the farm house in Ivy, VA that we stayed at this summer.

400 watt windmill 2

This one is a little more simplistic, emphasizing the inner workings of the bulb.

400 watt seagull

This one is still wet so I couldn't put it on a stand like the "whale".

Bluff on the Macinaw

Sitting on a bluff over looking the Macinaw  river and the surrounding woods as Spring approaches.

Pouring glass

Here's Jason of the Mac Glass project doing his thing.  The installation is hanging on the back side of the Recycled Office Furniture building on South Main St. in Bloomington.  If you take the Constitution trail down through the warehouses you'll be able to see it clearly hanging over the loading dock.  If you see a Mac glass or Blank Canvas event posted around town be sure to check it out.

Spring updated

I've made some slight alterations to the painting below.  See if they have improved it or not.

Windmills

After an extended conversation with Judy Hines about her passion for the new windmills going up on the East side of Bloomington I came up with this and the painting above.
